Fight Belly Fat with Fruit Juicing & Juicing Recipes to Battle the bulge

Fresh fruit juice is absolutely delicious. Most people, including myself, like fruit juicing because it is sweet tasting and highly flavorful. Fruits can be one of the best remedies to help you fight belly fat.

Fruit juices and fruits in general, are often referred to as the cleansers of the body. Fruits are referred to as cleansers because their natural acidity helps the body clean itself of unwanted bacteria and toxins.

In many cultures you will actually see many people drinking water with some lemon juice added to it. Over the years, these cultures have instinctively realized the benefits of even the slightest amount of fruit juice

If you suffer from a sugar related health problem such as diabetes, hypoglycemia, Candida (yeast problems), gout and so on, you should consult your health care professional before juicing fruits, and starting your fight belly fat diet plan.

Fight belly fat with juicing

If you are at risk at getting a sugar related problem such as diabetes, you will also want to consult your medical doctor or naturopathic doctor. Why? Because potentially the concentrated sugars in fruit juices can trigger or start such problems.

Even if you do not have or are not at risk for a sugar related health problem, you should still consult a medical doctor  before juicing fruits to determine what a safe level of fruit sugar is for you.

Fruits, especially fruit juices, contain natural concentrated fruit sugars.

Juice Combining

If you are a beginner try to Avoid combining fruit juices with vegetables.  Learn how to adjust your taste buds to  simple juicing first. My favorite fruit that I combine with vegetable juices is apple. so, If you do decide to combine fruit juices with vegetables I would suggest using apples.

Malic Acid

Malic acid is said to be a good antiseptic. Malic acid is also said to aid in the cleansing of the intestines, liver and kidneys.

Malic acid is found in apples, apricots, cherries, grapes, lemons and peaches. Other fruits that contain malic acid which are not included in the juice list are bananas, plums and prunes.


Ultimately, the enzymes in fruits are said to help digest undigested fats and proteins found in the gastrointestinal tract.

All fruit juices contain some enzymes; however, the two most famous are pineapple for its bromelain and papaya for its papain.

Most of the bromelain in pineapples is located inside the rind. As a result, it's good to juice the rind too. Don't worry, it doesn't taste bad. In fact, if you ask me, the rind of the pineapple adds extra flavor to the juice!

Fruit Juicing Recipes

Next, let's get juicing. Choose one of the simple juicing recipe below to start your journey:

Honey I'm Home

  • ½ honeydew melon

If organic, juice the rind as well for extra nutrition and flavor. You can also juice the seeds.

Sweet Dreams

  • 1 apple
  • 4 to 6 carrots
  • ¼ beetroot

Wash your fruit with clean water and 1 tablespoon organic apple cider vinegar. Remove the seeds form the apple and peel carrots.

Sweet Ginger

  • 1 cm of ginger (approximate ¼ inch)
  • 1 apple
  • 4 carrots

Remove the seeds form the apple and peel carrots.

Fight belly fat with juicing

Sweet Cucumber

  • ½ cucumber
  • 4 to 6 carrots

Wash and Peel carrots.

Pear Lemon

  • 1 pear
  • ¼ to ½ lemon

Juice the peel of the lemon for extra nutrition and flavor. You can juice the seeds too.
