Homemade Colon Cleanse

What you'll need:

  • Real Lemons
  • Filtered water

  • Grade B Maple Syrup
  • Ground Cyanne Pepper

Lemon juice can be an important component of a number of body cleansing regiments. Homemade colon cleanse using the juice of a lemon can be a natural and safe form of detoxing for the body.  The natural cleansing qualities of lemon help reduce harmful bacteria's in the colon, kidney and liver. 

Juice from ½ organic, all-natural lemon can be mixed with purified water to help with liver, colon, kidney and lymphatic cleansing as well as respiratory problems, sore throats, and healthy skin. It helps the organs produce the necessary enzymes to maintain and alkaline condition in the body, and it has even been known to help with heartburn.

A homemade colon cleanse can flush out both good bacteria and bad bacteria's from your colon, so it is often recommended that you add a Colon Detox Plus supplement to your diet with a good probiotic while cleansing. 

It is strongly recommended that you visit your doctor before starting any type of detox regimen. This is especially important if have a health condition that might be affected by a severe dietary change. Although the lemon cleanse is suggested to be a safe natural way to clean your colon and lose weight, it is strongly recommended that you contact your health care practitioner first.

Instructions For Your Homemade Lemon Colon Cleanse

  • Filtered water
  • Fresh lemons (preferably organic)
  • Grade B Maple syrup (preferably organic)
  • Ground cayenne pepper

1.   Pour the juice of half of a lemon (approximately 2 tbsp) into a 10 oz glass of filtered water. Add 2 tbsp of maple syrup along with a pinch of cayenne pepper to the water and stir thoroughly. I usually make bigger batches at once if I'm still going back and forth to work, It makes it more convenient to conduct the cleanse during work hours. 

You can find many of the organic ingredients needed for this cleanse on Amazon, or local health food stores near you. 

2.   Drink the lemon mixture in one sitting if possible. It's not necessary to chug it down, but you shouldn't sip the mixture over a period of hours. You'll want to give your body a through cleansing each time you consume the concoction. 

3.   Repeat the process several times day until you have consumed at least 60 oz of lemon water. Try your best to evenly distribute the lemon water glasses throughout the day. Since the lemon mixture is the only source of nutrition, space it out over several hours throughout the day. Additionally, spacing it out allows each dose to work its magic in cleaning your colon along with the other organs in your body.

4.  When you've reached your desired number of days on the homemade colon cleanse slowly reintroduce foods when the cleanse is over. Whether you used the lemon cleanse for 3 days or 30 days, you must take your time to reintroduce foods to your body. The first day after completing the cleanse add juice to your diet, Fresh orange juice is recommended. 

5.   Introduce salads and vegetables on day two after the lemon cleanse. Allow your system to slowly adjust to the transition from all liquids to solids. Introducing too much too quickly can cause stomach pain and discomfort.

Homemade Colon Cleanse

  • The homemade lemon cleanse can safely be performed for as few as 1,2 or 3 days to as many as 30 days. If this is the first time you are cleaning your colon using the lemon cleanse, don't feel the need to cleanse for 30 days. You might want to start out with a one or two day cleanse and eventually work your way up to 30 days.

  • If you are new to cleansing, it is strongly recommended that you begin your cleanse on a weekend or on days when you do not have work, school, social obligations or any stressful events coming up. But, cleansing is possible while working and maintaining your daily life tasks.
