Salt Water Flush
Everything you want to know

Salt water flush........Salt has long been used as a harmless preservative and disinfectant. The salt in the salt water flush cleanse stimulates the body to repair itself in the same way as when you soak an external wound in saltwater or gargle saltwater for a sore throat.

Think of the salt water flush as a bath for the inside of your body, where it draws toxins out from the entire digestive tract. When you imagine all of the waste products trapped in your digestive system — not unlike the slime and build-up that accumulates inside a garden hose or the kitchen sink pipes — it makes good sense that your insides benefit from a good washing.

Did you know… that a salt water flush does a superior (and inexpensive) job at detoxifying your colon than a colonic irrigation procedure?

Therefore, making it a great way to loosen up and get rid of up to 3 to 5 pounds of fecal matter from your abdominal tract.  That’s right –Instant weight loss!

When toxins over take our body it is a good idea to make the effort to expel them from your system. This of course is only going to happen by creating some good old fashioned bowel movements, and this can be done doing the Sea Salt Water Flush.

What is the Salt Water Flush?

Most people incorporate this flush as a follow up process to a detoxifying cleanse such as the lemonade cleanse, juice fast or water fast. When doing any of these cleanses it is Preferable you flush your system first thing in the morning. This Flush is done to artificially create bowel movements to help you expel waste more quickly than if you normally do.

While you might be okay with just drinking laxative tea’s or Epsom salt every single night I would recommend doing this flush every morning as it just makes the whole process a whole lot easier.

6 Important Tips to Help You Do the  Flush Correctly

  • The salt water flush is a critical part of the a cleansing program. Doing it in the morning will be the best option, so make the effort to get up extra early to do it.
  •  Never use iodized table salt for your salt water flush, Make sure that you opt for non-iodized sea salt. (Sea Salt)
  • Only use the recommended amount of salt that is required for every quart you drink
  •  It’s not going to taste very good so you may want to hold your nose while drinking the solution.
  •  Please be prepared and have access to a bathroom, once you drink the solution down your bowels will begin moving very shortly afterwards.
  •  You can expect to be on the toilet within 30 minutes to an hour of drinking the salt water flush solution.

While this whole process is nothing pleasant it is crucial to the whole cleansing process. You need those harmful toxins out of your body and this is the most effective way to do it.

How to Make the Solution:

Get yourself an empty 1 liter water bottle and a teaspoon and create a mixture using the following ingredients: (or a big glass- Optional choice)

Mix the following ingredients all together to create the solution.

Instructions:

  1. Put 2 teaspoons of salt into quart jar.
  2. Pour in warm water and stir.
  3. Drink the entire 32 oz of saltwater first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach, as quickly as possible. Most people find it easier to drink with a straw.
  4. After drinking the sea salt water, lie on your right side for 30 minutes. This helps the saltwater reach the lower right hand side of the stomach, where the opening to the small intestine is located.

After 30 minutes, you are free to move about as you wish, though you’ll want to remain near the bathroom, and that’s all there is to creating the Salt Water Flush solution.  Simply huh?

Cleaning Out Your Body with the Salt Water Flush

Once the solution is mixed, put the cap of the bottle on and shake it up. you can mix it in a regular glass but I find this way most helpful.

Once mixed up, open the cap and do your best to drink it up all at once.

Now this will be a little challenging at first because the solution tastes horrible and your stomach has become extremely small due to you not eating any solids.

But believe me no matter how hard it is the best thing to do is tilt your head back , hold your nose and keep drinking until you get the desired result which is to finish the bottle completely !

Of course you really don’t have to drink it all up at once but it is certainly the best option and you want to minimize the amount you actually taste the drink.

Do whatever suits you best…

What if The Flush Doesn’t Work?

The thing to remember is that this solution works for anyone that gives it a try.

But every person out there is a little different and so you may need to vary the amount of salt that you put into the solution until you get it to the right amount for you. So if the two teaspoons isn’t working then experiment with a little more until you get the desired bowel movements

It is equally important to remember to never use iodized table salt… organic non iodized sea salt is the best option.

More Helpful Tips for the Salt Water Flush

Try adding fresh lemon juice to help you mask the taste of the salt water solution. Lemon will help you tolerate the taste a little better.

Of course don’t just sit there waiting for the call of nature to take place once you finish the solution but instead go about your day until you feel the urge to go to the toilet, but stay close by.

There are some people out there who have said that laying down on their right side actually helps to speed up the whole process.  That’s actually the way they would do it colonic clinic’s and if your willing to try this you’re more than welcome to try it.

Will The Salt Water Flush Cause Dehydration?

The salt water solution you drink can’t be digested by your body. Salt water by itself can’t be digested by your system so you won’t have an issue.

So you are literally going to be expelling the whole solution you drank just moments ago.

The first couple of days of doing this flush will be expelling all the solid food waste that was in your system from the last couple of days.

While you are waiting around to see if you need to go to the toilet again be sure to NOT fart. Farting most likely will not just be air that is released! So please be careful.

You will experience a feeling of extreme gas; at this point farting is something that you are going to want to take very seriously from now on. Farting is a no, no when you are on a liquid cleanse. Drinking a large amount of liquids over a long period of time will warrant a mishap. (I’m just trying to help make you aware of a side effect most people don’t tell you!

When you are able to go about 15 minutes without going to the bathroom then you should be okay to go about your day to do whatever you wish, go to work, errands or whatever you have planned for the day ahead.

So obviously this whole process requires that you be a little flexible from time to time , so if you are busy in the morning needing to go to work then I’d recommend that you do it in the evening when you have a little more spare time.

At the end of the day while the sea salt water flush is probably the worst part of the whole cleansing process it is really essential if you want to really and truly get rid of every last toxin that is within your body

Will This Flush Cause Dehydration?

The simple answer to this question is NO.

The salt water flush is a highly effective way to expel and detoxify your body naturally of toxins and waste. From this flush you will have better digestion, increased energy, feel like a fresher you, and even experience weight loss.

I hope this article has shown you how powerful the salt water flush can actually be in your quest to cleanse out your body. All the junk and filth that has been lying in your body for years will slowly but surely be removed.
